Define the finished piece
Choose the audience, size, stitch pattern, difficulty and intended use. A specific cardigan, scarf or blanket creates a clearer brief than a list of fibres alone.
Build and test the sample
Record tools, gauge, finished measurements and actual yarn use. Wash and dry the sample using the intended care method before evaluating the result.
Match content to materials
Check that photographs, charts and videos refer to the same yarn, size and tool specification. Confirm commercial reuse, adaptation and co-branding rights separately.
Prepare a practical kit
Verify the bill of materials, yarn quantity by colour, tools, accessories, packing and missing-item handling. A finished-project photograph does not mean a finished object is supplied.
